Home to the world-famous Crown Jewels and host to
many dark and bloody secrets. The Tower of London
was begun
in the reign of William the Conqueror and throughout
the centuries as been a castle, a fortress, a prison
and of course a place of execution.

Nobody knows more about the history of the Tower of
London than the Yeoman Warders (popularly known as
'Beefeaters') who have guarded this fortress for centuries.
They'll captivate you with stories passed from generation
to generation.
Stand on the site where famous prisoners, including two of Henry VIII's wives,
were beheaded. Tours start at 09.30 (Sundays 10.00) and are then at half-hour
intervals throughout the day until 15.30; (14.30 in winter) lasting approximately
one hour.
